Mold release agent for improving surface adhesion under high temperature mold
Description
Specially formulated for mold making and casting, suitable for most liquid rubber and liquid plastic products. It will release mold rubber (such as polyurethane and polysulfide) from a properly prepared model. It may be necessary to use sealants to seal porous models (wood, plaster, concrete) or certain modeling clays (containing water or sulfur). The release agent is effective in a wide temperature range from 70°F to 500°F.
Use aerosols only in well-ventilated conditions:
1. Shake well before use.
2. Keep the can 12 inches/30 cm. From the surface to be sprayed.
3. Apply a continuous mist coating on the surface and surrounding form of the model or mold.
4. Use a soft brush to brush the release agent on the entire surface of the model or mold to break the surface tension and reduce air retention.
5. Apply a thin layer of release agent and let it stand for 5 minutes.
6. You can now use the mold rubber or pour into the cured rubber mold.
Liquid applications:
1. This product has a limited shelf life and should be used as soon as possible.
2. It can be put into non-aerosol plant sprayer, deck sprayer, or smeared with a soft brush.
3. Apply a thorough thin coating on the entire surface of the model or mold.
4. Let the surface solvent evaporate for 5 minutes.
5. Compressed air or blower can be used to blow off any accumulated excess.
6. Repeat the application and let it dry.
7. You can now use the mold rubber or pour into the cured rubber mold.
